The Heart That Gives Thanks

JOURNALS· Joyful Home· Live Treasured· Shop

I found out today that my niece and her husband (the ones who I did that epic dessert bar for) will be coming for Thanksgiving dinner. I’m traditionally the host for Thanksgiving dinner. They have to travel in and I felt the most thankful with that news. Thankful that my sister-in-law was having company and the two sisters were going to be able to hang out.

I’m also feeling completely thankful for the extra company coming to my house as my children now traditionally spend Thanksgiving with the “married in” side of the family.

The extra company means I may need to rearrange and pull in and set up an additional table this year and I am completely happy about this! Do I need to get another fall tablecloth? Yes, fun!

I am thankful I get to get out my planner and start working out what dinner looks likes this year. Grateful that God has given me provisions to be able provide a wonderful meal and time for my family. Hosting is a happy place.

You get the picture.

This reminded me that this is is the perfect time for me to journal all about this season of plenty. Instead of a blank book. I like to create my own binders with printable sheets. I’m going to pull pages from our “Eat Drink and Be Thankful Journal” and do a bit of journaling. I appreciate pretty things, do you?

You can get the Eat Drink and Be Thankful printable journal and planner for 25% off with coupon code ‘HOTDEALS’ at the TreasuredNest Printable Shop.

Have an amazing thankful day!

Hi there! I’m glad you’re here.

I'm Sheryl, Chief Encourager here at Treasured Nest.

To me our home is our treasured nest. I'm a bit of word nerd so when you look up those two words it fits perfectly.

Treasure - to regard or treat as precious

Nest - a retreat, a resting place; home

I understand that life can get messy and chaotic which makes it hard to see the treasure we have before us.

I also know from my own personal struggles that seeing the treasure in ourselves can be well...challenging!!

So Welcome to Treasured Nest...a place where grace abounds and a place with resources to help make home life simpler and less chaotic. A place to build faith to help you gain confidence to see just what a treasure you are.

A Gift for You!
