I would remind you that change will happen. Sometimes we can embrace and get excited quickly if we perceive the change right away as a “good” change. My friend, I celebrate with you. Right now!

However, my sweet friend, when the storms of life come and you are perceiving the change in your life as “bad”, I want to encourage you to Be Still and Trust God When Change is Hard. My friend, I pray with you right now for peace and strength through the storm.
I hope you enjoyed are little “coffee talk”.
Today’s talk reminded me of the history of Caribou Coffee. Right from the start when they went to lease a space perfect to cater to the office workers. A perfect space for their model of Monday-Friday during business hours. However, the lease on this perfect space didn’t come to pass and they had to find a new location..perhaps a “bad” change on the surface. They decided to look in the suburbs instead and change the model.
There has been many changes with company since the store’s 1992 beginning. I’m sure at each turn, they had to just trust.
I was trying to remember where I was when I first visited a Caribou Coffee location. I believe the first was in Georgia in Buckhead (Atlanta). That store was woodsy feeling and I was in love with the taste of the coffee. I also remember driving by a location in Cary North Carolina and had to make an unplanned stop. I tried their Vanilla Hazelnut and order that for home brewing as well as several other types. Only a couple can be found in our local stores so I often turn to amazon to get it shipped to my house.
